Color selections can be made for a variety of items in Solar Maps. These include land color, sea fill color, special fill color, planet color, line color, etc.
Your current display driver may allow 16 colors, 256 colors, Hi-Color (16-bit),True-Color (24-bit) or True-Color (32-bit). It is recommended that you choose Hi-Color or better in order to take full advantage of Solar Maps color options.

On your computer desktop, right-hand click the mouse and select Properties, then select the Settings tab.
This will display a box with information about your computer display settings. One of the items displayed is the Colors selection. Note that you may be able to select a better range of colors from this dialog if your system has such a driver available.
The “Color Selection” dialog within Solar Maps varies according to the number of colors which your display currently supports.
