A toolbar appears under the main menu of Solar Writer’s Main Window. This contains buttons which act as shortcuts to the same items that may be selected from the drop-down menus. The buttons on the toolbar may be rearranged or you may switch it off altogether if you wish.

1.Hover the mouse over the button for a couple of seconds, and a hint will appear describing what the button does.
>> To switch off the toolbar altogether
1.From the Main Window click on the Options menu, then on Customize Toolbar
2.Click on the Toolbars tab
3.Uncheck the item called “Toolbar” in the Toolbars list.
>> To add a button to the toolbar
1.From the Main Window click on the Options menu, then on Customize Toolbar
2.Click on the Actions tab
3.Select a Category name from the Categories list.
4.Use the mouse to click on an item in the Actions list and drag it and then drop it at a location on the toolbar where you want it to be placed.
>> To add a separator to the toolbar
1.From the Main Window click on the Options menu, then on Customize Toolbar
2.Click on the Drag to Create Separators button, and drag it and then drop it at a location on the toolbar where you want the separator to be placed.
>> To move buttons or separators on the toolbar
1.From the Main Window click on the Options menu, then on Customize Toolbar
2.Use the mouse to click on a button or separator on the toolbar, and drag it and drop it at the desired new position on the toolbar.
>> To remove a button or separator to the toolbar
1.From the Main Window click on the Options menu, then on Customize Toolbar
2.Use the mouse to click on a button or separator on the toolbar, and drag it and drop it anywhere off the toolbar.
