Applying Settings

If you have edited any settings, or opened a settings file, then you can apply these settings to the current map and chart and all subsequently displayed maps and charts.

Click on the “Apply“ button.
If the settings which you are selecting are new ones, or have been edited by you since they were last opened, then you will prompted whether or not you wish to save the changes. If you choose to save them, then you be shown the “Save As” dialog, but if not, then the settings will be applied to the current map but not saved for future re-use.
You will then be returned to the map screen, and the map will be redrawn using the current settings.
