Word Processor

You can select which word processor you wish to use when viewing and printing relocation interpretation reports. If you do not select one yourself, then Solar Maps will automatically use the default application on your computer for files with a *.rtf extension. This will normally be your usual word-processing program, so it is unlikely that you will need to select an alternative.

Select the “Word Processor...“ item from the “Reports“ menu.

This will display a dialog box showing which word-processor is currently selected. Normally, this will be “> Default word-processor for *.rtf file extension <”.

In order to choose a specific word-processor other than the default, click on the NO button, and then browse to find the required word-processor main application file.

For example, to select MS Word, its path and name might be

              “C:\MSOFFICE\WINWORD\WINWORD.EXE” ,                or

              “C:\WINWORD\WINWORD.EXE” .

If you have WordPerfect, then its path and name might be

              “C:\WPWIN\WPWIN.EXE” .

(If you have problems finding the correct path and name of other word processors, then you should re-enter “WRITE.EXE”.)
