Running the Animation

The animation is controlled by the five buttons in the central block. These buttons are:

Stop – (Red square) This stops the animation if it is currently running, and leaves the displayed chart at the most recently calculated date and time. |

Step back – (Blue back arrow and bar) This adjusts the chart by one step interval backward in time, and then stops. |

Step forward – (Blue forward arrow and bar) This adjusts the chart by one step interval forward in time, and then stops. |
• |
Run back – (Blue back arrow) This repeatedly adjusts the chart backward in time (using steps of the specified interval), until the stop button is pressed, or the animation dialog is closed. |

Run forward – (Blue forward arrow) This repeatedly adjusts the chart forward in time (using steps of the specified interval), until the stop button is pressed, or the animation dialog is closed. |
